Details:
The cottage formed the guiding principles for this project with the aim of creating an all native, formal garden reflective of the historical setting.

Existing lawns and ornamental understorey plants were removed to reduce water requirements and replaced with border hedging, flowering shrubs, grasses and ground covers.

Original materials were referenced and the ground plane softened with gravel paths and slate features.
