Details:
The landscape proposal at 413-427 King William Street represents the creation of an ‘indigenous’ roof garden that draws inspiration from the plant species of the Adelaide Plains and associated bio-regions. Working in collaboration with JPE, WAX Design developed a suspended decking structure and light weight soil medium that maximised planting areas while providing access and entertaining spaces. The organic form of the decks provide a sense of movement with the constructed forms floating on a native South Australian landscape.
